Construction: I-196 Weekend Freeway Closures Start This Weekend

Winter is done, Spring has started and that means it is time for some construction.  Starting May 12th at 9 AM, EB I-196 will be down to one lane, but that's not the big news.

The big news is that the freeway will be completely closing one side at a time on some weekends this spring and summer.  The first closure will come this weekend, and will completely close WB I-196 between US-131 and Market Ave from May 15 at 9 PM through May 18 at 5 AM.  There will also be ramp closures along I-196 throughout the entirety of the construction.
