Search Continues For Missing Teens Armed With AR-15 Style Rifle
According to the Albion Department of Public Safety, 15-year-old Aiden Marion and 14-year-old Arriannah Goodman have been reported missing and are believed to have left together willingly. Authorities say the pair departed with camping gear, a large supply of food, and an AR-15-style rifle with at least one loaded magazine.
The two reportedly left their cell phones behind, possibly to avoid being tracked, and do not appear to have their own transportation unless they received assistance from a friend or family member. Authorities believe they may be attempting to travel to Ohio, Indiana, or Virginia.
Law enforcement deployed drones to search nearby wooded areas, but the effort did not yield any results. Authorities are also concerned for Arriannah’s well-being, as she has a medical condition that requires regular medication.

Anyone with information regarding Aiden and Arriannah, or who may have seen them, is urged to contact Detective/Sgt. William Lazarus at 517-629-7854.

Teenage Couples Are Often Reported As Runaways
Throughout history, teenage love has sometimes led young people to leave home, reflecting the ongoing tension between romantic independence and family expectations across generations.
Across the country, most runaways are between the ages of 13 and 17, with family conflict, romantic relationships, and the pursuit of independence among the leading factors. The concept was also popularized globally by William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet (1596), which helped establish the enduring archetype of young, star-crossed lovers defying family opposition.
