Pair of Grand Rapids Donut Shops Up For Sale
Looking for a new business opportunity? Two popular donut shops are on the market in Grand Rapids.

Crain's Grand Rapids reports that husband and wife owners Brodie and Meghan Hock are selling Bro's Doughs.
The first Bro's Doughs opened at Knapp's Crossing in 2020. In June 2023, the duo opened a second Bro's Doughs on Fuller Ave.
Bro's Doughs serves hot, fresh, made-to-order, cake-style mini donuts in 50 flavors like Chocolate Frosting, Salted Cookie Butter, Apple Crisp, Boston Cream Pie, Maple Bacon, Strawberry Pop-Tart, Flinstone, and Thin Mint.
The business also caters.
At Grand Rapids 2023 Beer and Donut Fest, Bro's received 3rd Place in the Judges Category.
The Hocks tell Crain's they are ready to pursue other interests and are looking for a new owner to take over Bro's Doughs:
We have laid a great foundation and someone else can go from there. The potential is immense, as proven by our second location being profitable within the first month of opening.
The sales include all equipment and infrastructure. Darrell DeWard is the real estate broker.
DeWard tells Crain's,
You don’t see businesses of this type with this kind of profit and success being sold very often... I could see, with the right buyer, Bro’s Doughs scaling quite significantly — regionally, statewide and even nationally.
The Hocks are leasing both locations. Bro's Doughs at 2024 E. Beltline Ave. NW is listed for $500,000 and the Fuller Avenue is listed for $300,000.
A "large discount" is being offered to a buyer interested in both locations, Crain's reports.
