Behemoth have taken longer breaks between albums over the last decade, but frontman Nergal reveals that he's been inspired of late and that the band is already moving ahead on new music.

Speaking with KCAL 96.7's Radioactive Mike Z., the Behemoth leader revealed that he's been going through a very creative period. “I’m inspired, and I’m gonna surprise you because we’re already making new music,” said Nergal. “I believe we start jamming and doing later this year, but in the meantime I’m finishing the final touches of the second Me and That Man album as well. So there’s work on several levels. I’m very creative and very productive lately.”

The vocalist also revealed that there are some left over songs from the I Loved You at Your Darkest album sessions that he'd also like to have see the light of day. “I’m proud of the sounds," says the singer. "We just need to find the right place, the right time, the right occasion to [release it]. It’s happening eventually.”

When asked about a timeline for the various projects, Nergal revealed that the next Me and That Man album would arrive in the “first quarter or first half of 2020,” which suggesting, "Behemoth is gonna be 2021, 100 percent."
