Michigan Applebee’s On Guard After Woman Nearly Ruins Special Offer
You know when you're getting a stellar deal and you have to be smart about it or the deal will go away? For me, when I was a kid and Heelys were all the rage, the school was letting us all ride them during recess...until one kid got too crazy, got hurt, and got the shoes banned for everyone. Definitely not still upset by that, nope.
Well, one deal is now in peril after one woman tried to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat special and ended up in handcuffs.
Limited Time Special
Applebee's brought back its wildly popular All You Can Eat special that allows customers to get Boneless Wings, Riblets, and Double Crunch Shrimp for $15.99. Customers can have as much as they want among these offerings, but the catch is that the all-you-can-eat is per person, meaning each person partaking in the food has to pay $15.99.

I think you can see where this is going.
'All-you-can-eat' Is ONLY For You
A woman from Portage, Indiana recently found herself in a shouting match with Applebee's workers and later police after she was discovered ordering the special for herself, but sharing the food among everyone at her table (to save money). The workers charged her for two special meals to offset the cost, and the woman began arguing that she was doing nothing wrong.
The group was taken outside, where the arresting officer took one quick look at the menu to see that the menu said "Per Person", disproving the woman's argument. She continued causing a scene and was arrested, while her friend went inside to pay the bill.
All it takes is one person like this attempting to abuse the system to ruin it for everyone. If you're going to partake in the special, make sure to read the menu and be respectful to the wait staff so we Michiganders don't lose our unlimited wings.
