An Intimate 5-Room Airbnb-style Hotel Is Coming To Grand Rapids

Airbnb is the latest craze in the travel industry and that means that everyone wants to get in on the fad.  And that includes a real estate broker who has proposed a 5-unit Airbnb-style Hotel right in downtown Grand Rapids.

The Airbnb-style hotel will be named "The Finnley" and will be located at 65 Monroe Center on the ground floor and will have 5 units available.  The Finnley will technically be a hotel, but will function a lot like your typical Airbnb.  Instead of having a front desk, the hotel will assign you a code that will give you access to the building.  However, the hotel does have staff that will clean the rooms and replace the bedding each day.

There is currently no date set for when The Finnley will open.  The project is estimated to cost about $750,000.
