New Adobe Restaurant Finally Opens on Grand Rapids West Side
For generations of Grand Rapids residents, Adobe has been a go-to spot for tacos, burritos, and those yummy tortilla chips that come in a plastic zippered bag instead of a fancy basket. It's part of the restaurant's unfussy charm.

The restaurant's roots stretch back to 1969, making it one of the area's most recognizable local restaurant names. What Happened to the Fulton Street Location?
The former Fulton Street location has since been demolished, making way for a mixed-use housing development planned for the site. While that chapter has closed, Adobe's still has multiple restaurants in West Michigan.
