Acapulco Mexican Grill, owned and operated by the Vera family, got its start in Lansing in 2018. Since then, the brand has steadily grown, with additional locations in Charlotte, Jackson, and West Lansing.

Acapulco Mexican Grill Comes to Grand Rapids

The new Acapulco Mexican Grill has officially opened at 2230 East Beltline Ave. NE, part of the fast-growing Knapp’s Crossing development that recently welcomed a new Barnes & Noble.

On the Menu at Acapulco Mexican Grill

On the menu, you’ll find traditional favorites like burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and sizzling fajitas—but the Grand Rapids location is adding a new twist. According to Crain’s Grand Rapids, General Manager Joss Mendoza says this location will feature a rotating menu that allows the chefs to get creative, while continuing the chain’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients.

“We’re not going to limit it. We’re going to play with everything… I know there’s a lot of competition here in town, but I know we can do better in this area,” Mendoza told Crain’s.

To complement your meal, the new restaurant offers a wide variety of cocktails, margaritas, dessert drinks, and even mocktails.

Acapulco Mexican Grill Grand Rapids Hours

Acapulco Mexican Grill is now open seven days a week, with hours running Monday–Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
