I get having disagreements with parents, all kids go through that but for a teenager to allegedly develop an entire plot to have her mother killed is something else.

There were plenty of times when I was growing up that me and my parents didn't see eye to eye on things and I was mad.

I remember one time when I was in elementary school telling my mom that I was going to pack and leave because I was mad about something. My mom called my bluff and packed my little suitcase for me but I didn't want to go.

I also didn't grow up in a violent household so that type of anger was never passed down to my sister and me because our parents were not like that. I did know other kids who would say stuff to their parents I would never have gotten away with but my friends or me never plotted to kill one of our parents because we didn't get our way or were mad.

14-Year-Old Michigan Girl Allegedly Planned Her Mother's Murder

It is crazy to think that a teenage daughter may have been so angry with her mother that she allegedly planned to have her killed by a 17-year-old male.

According to WXYZ, police allege that the 14-year-old daughter conspired with a 17-year-old male to have him strangle the girl's mother to death. The male allegedly attempted to strangle the mother but someone confronted him so he fled the scene.

The mother survived the attack and is expected to make a full recovery. Meanwhile, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido plans to try the juveniles as adults. Both teens face charges of Conspiracy to Commit Premeditated Murder. The girl faces an additional charge of Solicitation of Murder, while the male faces an additional charge of Assault With Intent to Murder. All charges in this case carry a life penalty (three of the four charges are life without parole felonies.)

Lucido said, "When you commit adult crimes, you face adult consequences."
