It's hard to imagine a worse way to wake up than with a rat perched on your face.

But that's exactly what happened to this man, who was sleeping on a New York City subway car when a rat scurried up his pants leg and onto his face. Now, NYC doesn't exactly have a reputation for being the cleanest city in the U.S. But rats crawling on people's faces? It's enough to make you swear off mass transit altogether. According to a tweet from lead singer Julian Casablancas: “Still not going to be out for a few months — mixing, etc, but JUST finally finished it yesterday actually!?” This would be the follow up to 2006′s First Impressions of Earth.
