Trans-Siberian Orchestra

There is a lot of history behind the making of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra which dates back to 1996 when producer, composer, and lyricist Paul O'Neill contacted Savatage members Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli, and keyboardist and co-producer Robert Kinkel who collectively became the heart and soul of TSO.

In 1999, TSO took the show on the road and exploded as the rock n' roll Christmas show with a live production in the likes of Kiss and Pink Floyd meets Radio City Music Hall. With 10 million records and 10 million tickets sold, TSO is doing something right for the holidays.

979 GRD is very proud to be presenting the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 7:30 p.m. performance at Van Andel Arena on December 26. There is a matinee performance also at 3 p.m.

There is a special $39 ticket sale plus a service fee that will last until September 22 or while supplies last. The sale code is "979GRD."

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra appreciates the fans and communities that have supported them over the years so much they want to give back to those communities. TSO has chosen to donate $1 of every ticket sold from their 7:30 performance to Free Beer and Hot Wings Idiots for Underdogs Charity. The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show couldn't be more honored because that money will be used right here in West Michigan for families who are struggling and need a helping hand.
