Win Tickets to 979 GRDs Holiday Party Featuring Steel Panther
979 GRD and the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show bring you the first annual GRD Gingle Ball holiday party featuring Steel Panther.
Steel Panther
Originally called Metal Shop back in 2000 they quickly changed the name to Metal Skool where they played 80s covers weekly at the Viper Room in L.A. transformed into Steel Panther in 2008 and has been carrying the flag of 80s metal ever since.
Steel Panther recently had a run on TVs America's Got Talent where they wowed the judges and the biggest audience the band has ever been exposed to. Although they recently got knocked off the show, it's pretty amazing a band with edgy songs made it that far on a TV show that caters to families.
In the 23 years of the band, there has been only one member change as bassist Lexi Foxx left the band in 2018. The band's tour manager Joe "Spyder" Lester sometimes fill-in for Lexi wound up getting the gig alongside singer Michael Starr, Drummer Stix Zadinia, and guitarist Satchel. Steel Panther is as strong as ever.
Nothing Says Christmas Like Steel Panther
Nothing says Christmas like Steel Panther, well except for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett...wait...this is supposed to be about Steel Panther.
979 GRD and the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show present the first annual GRD "Gingle Ball" holiday party at the GLC Live at 20 Monroe Saturday, December 2 featuring Steel Panther.
