What is SummerSlam?
SummerSlam is one of the WWE's biggest wrestling events of the year. SummerSlam is considered the second biggest event next to WrestleMania.
SummerSlam is typically held in August although last year's event was in July. This year's SummerSlam with feature wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions and will be on pay-per-view worldwide.
One thing is for sure, SummerSlam will feature some of the biggest names in wrestling and will host some of the biggest matches of the year.

It has been 30 years since SummerSlam has been in Detroit and since 2007s WrestleMania since a major wrestling event has been held at Ford Field.
