Lately, I’ve had new car fever, and I’ve been noticed most of the vehicles I want are on the larger side. I really didn’t’ know why until I came across a study iSeeCars.com did, that list the top 5 most vehicles driven in Grand Rapids, and all but one are larger SUVs.

How did iSeeCars get their list together?  According to their press release:

iSeeCars.com analyzed more than 2.3 million car sales of 10-year-old cars, identifying the top 13 vehicles with the highest annual mileage.

The most driven car for Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo/Battle Creek is the Chevrolet Suburban.

Second place was basically the same vehicle, just the GMC version, the GMC Yukon XL.

Third through fifth on the list are the Chevrolet Tahoe, Toyota Prius, and the Ford Expedition.

All but the Toyota Prius are larger cars. Of course with our snow winter weather, it makes sense to drive an SUV instead of a minivan, plus they’re just cooler.  My dream car is a Tahoe, so I’m glad to know I’m in good company.  Except all the used vehicles are pretty high mileage since that was the key component to the study, how many miles are driven on each vehicle.
