West Michigan Newlyweds Featured On Inside Edition For ‘Spiderman Kiss’
In any wedding, the most exciting part is always when the officiant tells the happy couple, "You may kiss the ___", sealing their marriage with a kiss. It's the moment everyone is waiting for, and tends to mark the end of the wedding ceremony.
But a couple here in West Michigan did things a bit differently. Instead of the kiss at the altar being the one everyone remembers, these two made their most memorable moment come while walking back down the aisle, after a rope unexpectedly dropped from the ceiling, and the groom pulled off a very acrobatic move of his own.
A move so impressive that it went viral online and led to the couple being featured on Inside Edition.
A Kiss To Remember
Over the weekend, Silas and Kierstyn Nash tied the knot at Cornerstone Church on 84th St. in Caledonia. The couple's wedding appeared to be going like any other wedding, until the time came for the two to kiss. They then began walking down the aisle when a rope dropped from the ceiling and Silas flipped upside down to recreate the kiss made famous Spider-Man (2002).
The video of the two that has since gone viral online, with nearly 8 million views on TikTok. Marvel Entertainment's official TikTok even commented on the post, saying Silas' execution was "10/10". To top things off, the couple were even featured on Inside Edition.
The kiss between Tobey Mcguire and Kirsten Dunst from the original Spiderman movie released in 2002 is one of the most iconic kisses in cinema, and now the Nashs have one of the most iconic wedding kisses. Personally, I think they absolutely nailed it.
