So much so that my friend from California messaged me begging me to grab a sticker for her and mail it over. With this much demand, it isn't super surprising to see them showing up on eBay. However, the prices they are being listed for are just as unhinged as the sticker itself.

Michigan's wolf stickers took the internet by storm, and now they are coming for people's wallets. The sticker that you get for free upon submitting your ballot has been appearing on eBay, the online item auctioning site. People are capitalizing on the hype by listing their free stickers for insane profit.

For example, this user's sticker listing currently is sitting at $36 for a sticker they didn't even pay for! Adding insult to injury, there isn't even free shipping so someone might pay $40 for a sticker. Selling a sticker you got for free just for voting in an election is potentially the most American thing a person could do

Winners of Michigan 'I Voted' Sticker Competition - Including Viral Werewolf Design

In Spring of 2024, Michigan launched the "I Voted" sticker design contest.

More than 480 designs were submitted and over 57,700 public votes were cast for the winners.

Three winning designs were selected from each separate category:
  • Elementary/middle school (grades K-8)
  • High school (grades 9-12)
  • General entry (open to Michigan residents of all ages)
