An Old Unopened Safe Was Discovered On The Second Floor of The Parlour

The Parlour in Jackson, Michigan has been around since the early 1900s. The Parlour is about as Americana as you can get when comes to old-fashioned hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, and an all-American menu that will make you feel like you traveled back in time.

With a business that is over 100 years old, inside an old building you just never know what you may find. Well, someone discovered an old safe that has been upstairs for decades and no one had the combination.

A man by the name of Greg Green spent an hour each day after work trying to figure out the combination, well he did it.

As you can see this was a safe and not a vault. No, a bunch of hidden money wasn't found in the safe but instead, a plethora of historical facts regarding The Parlour was found. The original purchase agreement was discovered. All the old employee records, plus all the paperwork from when The Parlour switched from using horse-drawn wagons to purchasing new trucks.
