Netflix has been working hard to get the rights to Star Wars The Force Awakens for next year, but they've only managed to score them for...Canada! Someone already outbid the streaming giant for the rights to the United States...Starz.

Starz will begin showing The Force Awakens about eight months after the movie comes out in theaters, so by the end of July, early August, you can watch the new Star Wars movie on TV.

Netflix wil be abe to show the movie in Canada, so all those really nice people who drink bad beer and watch too much hockey will get to see it there, while we will have to spend the next eight months trying to figure out what freaking channel Starz is on our TV. Seriously, who the hell watches Starz?
