I think a lot of us agree that "Baby, it's Cold Outside" isn't that great of a Christmas or really just "any day" kind of song. But it hasn't stopped people from re-doing the song, including Megan Baldry and Peter Repins of the Thornapple Kelloggs High School Honor Chorus, who did a new version of the song, titled. "Baby It's Cold Outside" (Consent version).

The updated version starts off with:

I really can't stay  (Baby, I'm fine with that)

instead of the original line

I really can't stay (Baby it's cold outside)

as well as

"I gotta go away (Baby it's cold outside)"

with

"I gotta go away (Baby I'm cool with that)"

Also the line "My mother will start to worry" was answered with a comedic, " I hope that she knows that you're coming", as well as a plug for the Cheesecake Factory.

While it's not the first time this song has been re-done since the start of the #MeToo movement, the message, and positive reaction these two received is awesome to see in the high school setting.
