After going to Ghost and Volbeat at Van Andel Arena on February 16 I feel like I have the concert bug again. I started looking ahead to see what is coming up in West Michigan in March and this is what I found.

Tool At Van Andel Arena

Tool is coming to Van Andel Arena on March 8. It has been a long time since Tool has been to Grand Rapids. Tool was originally scheduled before the pandemic to come to West Michigan but the first show was pushed back then eventually canceled. Tool singer Maynard James Keenan said that the band did not want to hold on to their fan's money at a time during the pandemic when they may need their money the most.

Tool brings fans a unique show live show with amazing visuals on their video screens. They also have one of the biggest lighting rigs on the road today.

There are still tickets available for Tool and you can grab yours here. If you would like a preview of the current tour, check out the video below.

From Ashes To New

From Ashes To New are bringing their "Still Panicking Tour" to the Intersection on March 8. Also appearing with From Ashes To New are Fire From the Gods, Blind Channel, Kingdom Collapse, and Above Snakes.

If you miss Linkin' Park or love that genre of rock, From Ashes To Knew can help fill that void. From Ashes do something similar with the two different vocalists with one singer doing the singing and screaming while the other handles the rap parts.

If you are looking for an exciting new band that is on the rise you may want to check out Fire From the Gods. Their latest album American Sun is a pretty cool record and they have recently released a reimagined version.

Here is a link to get tickets and below is a full From Ashes To New performance to give you a taste of what you see at the Intersection.

Greta Van Fleet In Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo

It has been 4 years since Greta Van Fleet performed at the Intersection and this time they are coming to the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids. Greta Van Fleet will be joined by Rival Sons and The Velveteers.

Greta Van Fleet has sold out their show at the Delta Plex as well as their Kalamazoo performance at Wings Event Center. Looks like second-hand ticket providers will be your best bet if you want to see either of these shows.

Here is an amazing Greta Van Fleet show from when they performed at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.

Coheed and Cambria In Grand Rapids

The last time I saw Coheed and Cambria was many years ago in Chicago when they opened for Slipknot which I felt was a mismatched lineup. I am looking forward to seeing Coheed and Cambria headline the GLC Live at 20 Monroe on March 13.

Cohead and Cambria are bringing their "Great Destroyer Tour" that will also feature special guest Sheer Mag. Here is a link for tickets. There are not many tickets left so you better get yours before they are gone.

Below is the latest track from Coheed and Cambria called "Shoulders" and it is an absolute jam.

Papa Roach at the GLC Live at 20 Monroe

Papa Roach is bringing their "Kill the Noise Tour" to the GLC Live at 20 Monroe on March 16. Also appearing are Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves. There are still tickets available for the show and you can get yours right here.

Jacoby Shaddix the frontman for Papa Roach is one of the most energetic and charismatic singers in rock for the past 20 years. Shaddix and his band are relentless on stage and always bring a top-notch show.

I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of Hollywood Undead fans in the audience as well as a lot of Bad Wolves fans too. This seems like the kind of show that will sell out so get your tickets before you miss out.

Below is a Papa Roach live performance from 2021 to prep you for the Kill the Noise tour which they are bringing a totally new stage setup and setlist to Grand Rapids.

This is a pretty awesome batch of rock shows that are coming to West Michigan in March but if you think that is it for the year, just get ready for what will be happening in April.
