Grand Rapids has been my favorite of all the Michigan cities for over 30 years and I've only lived in the area for 7 years. The downtown is clean, there are plenty of dog-friendly areas with dog poo gloves and bags. Lots of businesses have water dishes out front. There are designated dog parks and some bars and restaurants allow you to bring your pup inside or on the patio. It's safe to say that Grand Rapids welcomes people and their dogs.

People Are Upset About the Amount of Dog Poop In Grand Rapids

This poster may be onto something.
It might just be a mix of hobo poop and dog poo. I think I've seen more homeless poo than dog poo on the streets of Grand Rapids.
The only good news here is rainy season is coming and soon all the dog and hobo logs will be washed away.
