Everyone's favorite Christmas band is back with what promises to be the biggest production the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has ever brought to Grand Rapids. 979 GRD has several ways you can win tickets.

I am very fortunate to be able to attend many shows each year because of my job, but no artist consistently brings in a one-of-a-kind production year after year like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra delivers.

TSO is coming to Van Andel Arena for two shows on December 7, 2025. Tickets are on sale now. A  special $55 all-in-one ticket (price includes service fees) is available for the 7:30 performance. You can meet TSO after the 7:30 show only.

$1 from every ticket sold for the 7:30 show will be donated to the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show charity, "Idiots for Underdogs," that will help make the holiday break-ins bigger than ever.

The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO & More is an all-new show that continues with an unparalleled blend of rock, classical, and theatrical spectacle, complete with dazzling pyrotechnics, lasers, and incredible storytelling, which has captured the hearts of multiple generations.

TSO Back In Grand Rapids; How To Win Tickets

The Rock Station 979 GRD and Firehouse guitars have several ways you can win tickets. Listen all week to the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show weekday mornings, October 20 - 31. Listen to Janna at noon and Tommy Carroll at 4:20, October 27 through December 5.

To get in the first 5 rows for TSO, listen to the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show mornings, December 1-5.

You can sign up on the GRD app to win family 4-packs of tickets. One winner will score the grand prize, which is a VIP meet and greet and a drumhead for after the 7:30 show. Others have a chance to win an autographed vinyl or a merch pack.

You can also sign up to win a family 4-pack of tickets and an autographed guitar at Firehouse Guitars in Grandville. GRD's Tommy Carroll will broadcast live on Saturday, December 6th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. One lucky winner will get the 4 tickets and the signed TSO guitar.

979 GRD will be at the 131 Sportsbar and Lounge now through December 4 for Detroit football games and will give away a premium pair of tickets during each game.
