Thousand Foot Krutch will launch their ‘Born This Way' tour in Joliet, Ill. tonight (Oct. 7).

The 19-date outing will see the rockers on the road with We As Human and Righteous Vendetta on select dates, including Oct. 18 at The Intersection.

The Canadian rockers are out supporting their seventh studio album ‘OXYGEN: INHALE,' which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released back in August.

Frontman Trevor McNevan describes the album as a “natural evolution” for the band.

"We wanted to make a raw rock record," he says. "We decided to strip away all the background sounds and popular over-production, so that what you hear are just the instruments and the voice."

The band is heating up the airwaves with their hit single ‘Born This Way.’ McNevan explained the premise of the song, "We were made to be who we are, and every one of us is unique.” He added, “We're wired the way we are for a reason. We were all created equal, and this song is an anthem for everyone who's tired of being someone they're not, or has to dumb down who they are for someone else. Be yourself, you're the best version of you."

Thousand Foot Krutch will wrap the U.S. leg of their ‘Born This Way' tour on Nov. 11 in Lubbock, Texas, with other dates Oct. 10 in Battle Creek and Oct. 16 in Flint, before four performances in Russia in late November.
