Thom Brennaman Really Thought Jack Clark Was Dead

Jack Clark isn't actually dead, but for some reason Thom Brennaman was convinced that he read it somewhere.

Not only did he think he was dead, he also revealed that they used to be neighbors, so... you'd think he'd know for sure if he was dead?

Brennaman later corrected himself and apologized. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're a sports announcer, shouldn't you make sure that you have your facts straight before you just blurt out to everyone that's listening that someone is dead?

Granted, fans might now have been that upset. FanSided.com reports that Clark was not particularly well liked during his 18 seasons in the MLB.
