Things To Do This Weekend: July 22-24, 2022
The summer fun in West Michigan continues this weekend. Hopefully the weather cooperates. This week there are county fairs, concerts, colorful runs, cars, a Troutarama, festivals, art, and wine. Here are over ten different activities on the schedule this weekend.
Ionia Free Fair
Friday, July 15-Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Ionia Fairgrounds, Ionia, MI
A West Michigan favorite, this fair will feature midway rides, queen contest, live bands, parade, monster truck throwdown, classic car show, derby contest, Ionia Idol, night of destruction, senior wellness day, livestock auction, bull riding, thumb tractor pull, giveaways, 4-H shows, open class exhibits, great food, and much more. Barry County Fair
Monday, July 18-Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Barry Expo Center, Hastings, MI

Muskegon Heights Festival in the Park
Monday, July 18-Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Rowan City Park, Muskegon Heights, MI
In the fall of 1974, Dr. Robert A. Warren became the first elected African- American Mayor for the City of Muskegon Heights. Under his leadership in 1982, the first Muskegon Heights Festival in the Park was held. The Festival includes a carnival for the children and Blues and R&B concerts. Wednesday, July 20-Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Downtown Baldwin, MI
Troutarama is a four day festival packed with fun for the whole family. Troutarama first began in 1956 by the Lake County Chamber of Commerce. What once started as a small event to help bring tourism to Baldwin now brings 1000's of visitors each year. Activities include carnival rides, games, live music, a 5k, softball tournaments, a beer tent, karaoke, and a grand parade! National Baby Food Festival

Sparta Town and Country Days

Town & Country Days gets underway with the infamous Lions Chicken Dinner! You get half of a chicken cooked over charcoal, pork BBQ baked beans, coleslaw, roll, and water. All for only $10! The bands for the night will be The Accidentals and Treeskin! There will also be free popsicles handed out during the concert! Nightrain – The Guns N’ Roses Tribute Experience

Grand Rapids Color Run
Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Calder Plaza, Grand Rapids, MI
The mission of the Color Run is "to bring people together and make the world a happier, healthier place." The run is a five-kilometer, untimed event. At each kilometer mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Runners start out in white, and by the time they reach the finish line -- they are dusted in color! Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival with a larger-than-life party featuring music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws. Art, Wine and Music Festival
Saturday, July 23, 2022 - Domaine Berrien Cellars, Berrien Springs, MI
The Art Wine and Music Festival returns for its 16th year! Over 20 local & regional artists will be displaying and selling their handcrafted work. There will be a variety of artistic offerings – from jewelry, wood carvings, oil & acrylic paintings, and watercolors, to photography, fused glass, stoneware, ceramics, mosaics, woodwork, stained glass, tie-dye, and pottery. There will also be live music all day. Mouth-watering foods will be available along with Domaine Berrien Cellars’ wine tastings, and wine by the glass or bottle, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Lemon Creek Winery’s Vintage Blues Bash

It is an Annual Celebration of the Blues with the Vintage Blues Bash!
