While not as theatrical as TSO's version, August Burns Red's rendition of "Carol of the Bells" has everything that a hardcore Christmas carol could want: double bass pedal, frequent breakdowns, and guitars that are perfect for moshing to. Yet, the tune also remains faithful enough to traditional versions of "Carol of the Bells" that you could sneak it into a Christmas playlist and few (if any) would notice.
