The 10 Most Ridiculous Munchies You Can Find In Grand Rapids
West Michigan already loves great food, so when it comes to finding something amazing to dig into, you don't have to look hard to find something unique on any menu in town.
But in honor of today's "holiday", I've searched for the best munchies you can find throughout Grand Rapids. So get lit (or don't, I won't judge) and dig in to some of the most insane items to sink your teeth into in West Michigan.
The Korean Style Corndog from One Stop Coney
This self proclaimed "third best Coney shop in Grand Rapids" has one of the most incredible and inventive menus in West Michigan. Their take on a Korean Corndog is an absolute must for anyone who loves junk food with a "high class" flare. They describe it as "Like a corn dog-mozzarella stick dipped in batter and then rolled in Panko bread crumbs, finished with a light dusting of sugar." and if you get it, make sure you try one of their many custom dipping sauces- my favorite was the Curry Ketchup.
*they've also added a burger with mozzarella sticks as buns for a limited time to the menu, so I don't blame you if you go with that too.

Cereal Covered Donut from Sandy's Donut
You can't make a bad choice when it comes to the baked goods at Sandy's Donuts. They are only open from 5am - 1pm, so unless you plan to wake and bake you'll want to grab this early for a 4:20pm treat.
You can see their selection on facebook, but it's best to stop in and see them in person to see what's available.
Queso Mac & Cheese Sandwich from Basalt
I've not been shy about my love of Grand Rapid's best taco, Basalt. But this new item that was recently added to their menu is a stoner's dream come true. This masterpiece comes with perfectly soft texas toast, and a queso mac & cheese filling that would make your momma cry. Pair it with their new jalapeno lemonade, and I promise you'll have the greatest nap of your life.

Hersey S'mores Coffee Slush from Kung Fu Tea
Okay, "tea" is a pretty loose term for a lot of the drinks you'll find at Kung Fu Tea, but if you're looking for some crazy drink options, they've got some of the best you'll find in West Michigan. This specific drink is a decadent coffee, chocolate and marshmallow treat with just enough caffeine to help you battle that Indica that is trying to keep you "in da couch".

An Entire Sushi Party Tray from Sushi Market
Is this one a little wild? Yes. But, hear me out: if you're getting the entire gang together, imagine after you smoke you walk to the fridge and pull out 35 pieces (or more) for everyone to dig into? You're going to be the hero of the day. Plus, buying in bulk always saves you more.
If you want to see their full menu, visit them online or stop by and see them inside the Downtown Market
Rolled Ice Cream from Street Kings
Since you're rolling one, you might as well get some rolled ice cream too, and this secret spot is awesome because not only can you get dinner beforehand at the restaurant they're located inside of, you can also watch them make it right in front of you. They've got lots of flavors, and their waffles look amazing - they're worth a stop on your tour of munchies.
Follow them on facebook for updates.
Get a Pizza Flight from Mitten Brewing Co.
If you've had enough of the good stuff, choices can be hard. So don't make a choice - get a flight of pizzas instead. While Mitten Brewing is known for their extensive beer selection and mug club, their pizza is top tier and will blow your mind.
you can see all of your pizza selections and order ahead online on their website.
Grab a Cookie from the Good Cookie Sweet Shop
Do you have a sweet tooth, but feel a little shy about it? Great news - Grand Rapids has a 24/7 cookie machine behind the Good Cookie Sweet Shop.
This adorable bakery has some of the best sweets in West Michigan, and lets be honest not every baked good you have needs to be full of the fun stuff.
The Grits Flight at Forty Acres
My southern roots may be talking here, but you want to hear me out. These three flavor combinations are not only good for your soul, they're good to soak up all of the extra stuff in your system after a good session. If you're not already familiar with Forty Acres, now is the time to explore their flavorful menu and understand why they're Grand Rapid's best Soul Food kitchen.

ANYTHING on the Menu at Social Misfits
It seems almost fitting that Social Misfits opens for the day on 4/20 at 4pm, because their entire menu is a haven of enthusiastically decadent treats. If you think waffles have to be savory, they're going to make you a believer in the non-breakfast waffle. But, make sure you get there early because they tend to be busy and do not take reservations.
Visit them online to see all of the incredible options on their menu.
So, good luck out there as you go on food adventures for April 20th (or anytime you're looking for something off the wall and tasty) and if you have any ideas of places I missed - please leave a message in the comments or shoot me an email!
