Before Taylor Swift Left Detroit She Made a Huge Donation
Taylor Swift performed a sold-out show for fans in Detroit, but before leaving the Motor City she made a huge donation that will help out thousands of Michiganders.
Taylor Swift Ticket Fiasco
Taylor Swift has cemented her place as one of the biggest pop-country stars of all time and that being said, means the demand for tickets to her shows has been over the top.
Swift's current "Eras Tour" sold out in minutes but not after crashing the internet leaving many "Swifties" (the name for her fans) so angry they attempted to sue concert promoter Live Nation. Fans complained of huge swings in ticket prices and ridiculous wait times.
Swift apologized to fans but needless to say, those tickets were expensive so a lot of money was made in Detroit when the Queen of Pop-Country was in town.
Taylor Swift Makes Huge Donation To Local Michigan Charity
Taylor Swift just wrapped up her performance in Detroit at Ford Field to a frantic sold-out audience.
Fans were treated to one of the biggest spectacles out on the road in 2024 with a massive stage production, several wardrobe changes, and songs from a catalog of music that has sold over 50 million albums and 150 million singles worldwide.
According to WXYZ, a member of Taylor Swift's team contacted a local charity by the name of Gleaners which help feed the needy in five counties in Michigan's most highly populated areas of the state.
The counties that will benefit from the large donation will be Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, and Livingston. There's no word on just how much the donation was but from the excitement of the Gleaners representative, it will massively help those who are recipients of the charity.
