Last summer, Funko released the first of its Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice collectibles in an exclusive set at San Diego Comic-Con. For those of you who couldn't attend, and didn't want to pay exorbitant prices on the secondary market, we have good news--there are a bunch of new Funko Pops, Minis, Idolz, and bobbleheads coming. It's not really all that surprising. There was no way there was only going to be two Funko Pops for DC's biggest film of the year. At least now we know what to expect in the coming months... at least so far as the heroes are concerned.
At this point in the Funko game, you'd actually have a harder time thinking of something the company hasn't created at least one Pop for than things it has. Batman V Superman is getting the full-court press from Funko, too, with every aspect of the company's various lines getting in on the action. You want a tiny, baby Batman driving a Batmobile? You got it. Want to chew on Aquaman while thinking about what to write in your journal? Yeah, they got you covered there, too.
Richard Donner made a great first Superman movie back in the '70s, and put Christoper Reeve on the map. But unfortunately, the follow-up movies were pretty terrible. Richard Donner even came back and repaired a lot of what had been done to Superman II, but not many people have watched it, since we were all scarred by the theatrical release.
Superman III is just an abomination.
The movie a lot of people have been waiting for a long time is getting closer and closer! 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' comes out next year, and the teasers have been coming already, along with glimpses of what we will see when the movie comes out.
Now, get a better look at the costumes the comic book heroes will be wearing in the movie, including the Wonder Woman costume!
The movies are the big talk these past few weeks. With new teasers and trailers for Star Wars, Jurassic World, and the highly anticipated Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The trailer looks dark, awesome, and kinda scary.
Let's lighten the mood by adding some of the original actors of the super heroes, Christopher Reeve and Adam West.
The fall 2014 TV season has been dominated by the arrival of superhero series like 'Gotham,' 'The Flash' and more, and CBS is about to have a 'Super' new addition to the team. Following its initial announcement, the 'Supergirl' TV series has officially landed at CBS with a full series commitment, focusing on the tale of Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin.
For some reason, we got on the topic of General Zod this morning on "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" while talking about something else completely unrelated.
It reminded us of the greatest scene from any movie ever in the original "Superman" movie from 1978.
We've already seen our fair share of 'Batman vs. Superman' set photos showing off Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, but we now have our first look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne! And he looks like ... Ben Affleck! With some grey in his hair! Yeah, thats not too surprising. After all, the ruggedly handsome Affleck already looks enough like a playboy millionaire and the little bit of grey just confirms what director Zack Snyder has already said: this will be an older, more tired Batman.
When Warner Bros. announced its Comic-Con 2014 film lineup, 'Batman vs. Superman' was not on the list, which seemed more than a bit odd at the time. Now we know it was all just a rouse to give the surprise panel more impact.
A lot of people have been talking about Batman vs Superman for a long time, and I know that there was a really successful comic about.
And yes, there's a huge-budget movie coming with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.
But whenever I was hearing about it, I'd think, "What could Batman POSSIBLY do to stop Superman in a fight?"
In retrospect, we know very little about Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' sequel, 'Batman vs. Superman' (even the title remains unofficial until the studio breaks its silence). However, it looks like big announcements could be coming soon during a certain 'Man of Steel' fan event.
