I still can't believe it's been over ten years since we lost Dimebag. His contribution to music was so huge, and his playing was amazing, and he was always such a happy, fun guy. Five Finger Death Punch is already back in the studio, working on the new album, that should be out before the end of the year! "The Wrong Side of Heaven and Righteous Side of Hell" came out in 2013, but the band has been focused on continuing to write new music and now slow things down. They're working on the new album now, will either finish it before their April/May tour in the U.S.

We've picked on all the band members (except keyboard players so far), but we can't leave out the audio engineer who sits behind the keyboard and has to listen to all this stuff. Yesterday, I posted about the funny things drummers say in the studio, and I think we all had a good laugh.  If you haven't had that laugh yet, go have it, it's good. Drummers aren't the only funny people in the studio, though.  You'll always get some good stuff from everyone in the band, including the guitar players. Yes, even them.

If you've been in a band, you've probably heard your drummer say some of these things.  It wouldn't even have to be in the studio, it could be in rehearsal, at a show, or just when they're hanging out screwing around on the kit.
