Slipknot ringleader Corey Taylor believes that the moment of silence scheduled in honor of former bassist Paul Gray at the band's Sonisphere set will be louder than their actual performance. The emotional moment will take place this Sunday (July 10) at 2pm London time.

Slipknot performed for the very first time since the death of bassist Paul Gray a little over a year ago. The surviving eight members made their emotional return June 17 at Terravibe Park in Athens, Greece.

Slipknot ringleader Corey Taylor revealed that he is "scared to death" of playing without original bassist Paul Gray, who died from a drug overdose in May of last year. The Des Moines, IA band is scheduled to tour in Europe this summer as part of the Sonisphere Festival.

England is about to get an overdose of metal as Metallica are set to headline next year's Sonisphere Festival, and they're not coming alone.
