I'm always talking about the WiiU, NES, SNES, etc. I mean, those are great consoles and they remind of my childhood quite a bit when I play them. Believe it or not, for awhile, I fell out of video gaming for a time when I was early in high school. The new game consoles were coming out and I just didn't care about them at all.
When the first Resident Evil game was remade for the Gamecube, it was a smash hit and absolutely amazing! I have a hard time playing the game because it's so creepy.
Still though, Resident Evil 2 is my favorite Resident Evil of all time, and always has been...and now, Capcom officially announced a revisit to the game.
It's been awhile since I focused on one game. Previously when I nerd out about a video game, it was about Super Metroid and Mega Man X. Now it's time to go for a game that re-defined the Survival Horror genre. Is it Survival Horror though? More of an Action-Horror?
I don't know, this game was awesome!
Resident Evil is one of the best games of all time! The old game may be showing it's age, but we were given the rare opportunity of a full fledged remake of the game on Nintendo Gamecube. The game looked amazing and I consider it one of the best in the series, and was one of the reasons I bought a Gamecube. Resident Evil 'Remake' is making a triumphant return in full HD to the new game consoles!
I don't know how I feel about this quite yet. Resident Evil 6 was such a disappointment to me.
Every time I ask someone what they thought of RE 6, it's usually met with an: "Eh. ... It was OK." I have yet to hear that it was awesome, which sucks.
Then, I heard that there there is a possibility of a Resident Evil 7 survival horror game on the horizon and that the new game may be announc
Resident Evil is still one of my favorite game series' that exist. Over the years though, it has really lost it's 'Survival Horror' roots and has become more of a shooter. The first game was filled with cheezy voice overs and clunky controls, but still was a lot of fun. At the time it was scary, but then other games really trampled it on horror. Resident Evil was starting to lose it's horror edge,
Collecting video games can be a very expensive hobby, especially when you start to find the games that are rare. Sometimes you can find a game that cost only .49 and then you come across a game that is around $200! I found a game at a gaming store that I have wanted for some time, and it did cost me a little bit.
Resident Evil, one of the most recognizable game series of all time. The first game in the series came out in 1994, and blew us all away. With the terrifying atmosphere of the mansion, the crazy zombies, and a plot line that kept you going through the game. What did the game all come down to though? Fear. Can you say this about the game series today though? Not really.
