Friday, August 21st, Pop Evil hit Grand Rapids for their CD release party, and they had a couple great bands in tow, Red Sun Rising, and the amazing Aranda! I'm a big Aranda fan, they are really nice guys, and rock the hell out every show, either with the full band or acoustic. These guys bring it.

Friday, August 21st was a special day for Grand Rapids and Pop Evil. Not only was it the day a great concert was scheduled, but it was also the day the new Pop Evil album 'Up' was released, and the day Mayor Hartwell appeared on TV with the band to declare it 'Pop Evil Day' in Grand Rapids!

Before rocking the Intersection Friday night with Aranda and Pop Evil, Red Sun Rising stopped by the GRD studios! They talked with Janna about their new album Polyester Zeal, what bands inspire them, and more!

Rock on the Range is just over a month away! Over 50 bands are set to rock Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, May 15-17. The organizers are helping you get a jump on planning your ROTR 2015 experience by releasing the daily lineups for this year’s event.

Saturday night, Grand Rapids’ own, Pop Evil returned home for a big show at The Intersection, with Islander, Letters from the Fire, Red Sun Rising, and Grand Rapids’ own, Hurry Home!  All the bands kicked ass, getting the crowd rowdier and crazier as the night went on.

Pop Evil has wrapped up their touring in support of the "Onyx" album, and they did it with a huge show at home here in Grand Rapids, at the Intersection with WGRD! Thanks to everyone who came out and rocked with all the bands that night!  It was a fantastic show, and all the bands rocked hard all night long, hung out with fans, signed everything put in front of them, and more!

The mighty Pop Evil has just announced the final batch of tour dates for 2014, and yes, a return to its hometown of Grand Rapids is scheduled to happen! Pop Evil will hit The Intersection on Dec. 20 for the next to last stop on the new tour, which also features Red Sun Rising, Islander, and Letters from the Fire.
