Police are investigating after residents are up-in-arms over racist and antisemitic flyers that being left in plastic bags in driveways containing an unknown substance.
This documentary, based on a book titled "A City Within A City" by Dr. Todd E. Robinson, will show racism in certain cities and Grand Rapids is a part of the list.
The Caledonia Scots Football team take on the East Kentwood Falcons tonight at 7pm at East Kentwood High School Stadium. The Caledonia students have been warned by the school's administration. They were cautioned about wearing inappropriate attire that might be considered racist.
This morning Kellogg's took to Twitter to address what appears to show a racially insensitive image. According to the Detroit Free Press Novelist Saladin Ahmed questioned the back of the current Kellogg's Corn Pops box.
Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about an incident at a local tavern, where a man claims to have been turned away because of his skin color. The bar claims he was turned away for showing up after last call.
On Friday, Phil Anselmo shocked people by throwing a Nazi salute and screaming "White Power" to end the Dimebash, a star-studded evening of metal and celebration of Dimebag from Pantera. Phil "performed" at the show, and when things ended, he wrapped up the show in his own messed up way. Check out my original post here.
Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo has recently spoken out about his actions at Dimebash, the annual concert held in honor of Pantera's late guitarist, Dimebag Darrell. At the end of the set, Anselmo gave a Nazi salute and yelled, "White power!" which he now claims was part of a joke.
I'm not sure what's been happening with Phil Anselmo over the years. It seemed like he would be a cool dude to hang with during the Pantera years. They partied hard, and played some amazing music.
Then Phil left the band, and things went sideways with him.
Kristi Capel, a newscaster at WJW-TV Fox 8 in Cleveland, is probably going to want this one back.
On Monday while talking about Lady Gaga's performance at The Oscars, where she sang a musical medley tribute to "The Sound of Music," it seemed like Capel was trying to pay Lady Gaga a compliment. But she failed miserably.
