There's a new creepy clown killer horror movie about to be shot in Northern Michigan, called Crepitus, and you can be in it! It stars Bill Moseley, of House of 1000 Corpses fame, and the filmmaker is looking for people to be in a creepy family album. You don't even have to be able to act.
A few years ago, video game mastermind Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro released a playable trailer for a new game they were working on, called Silent Hills. It was a huge hit, and everyone was super excited for the game. So excited that some Michigan filmmakers decided to create a live action version of the trailer. Watch it above.
I was pleasantly surprised by this entry in my series on Michigan Horror Movies for Halloween. Not that Cyrus had a huge budget, or was an amazing film, but that the cast has some real actors in in, and that it's not the worst story ever. I was surprised to see the amazing Lance Henriksen, but then again he's been in just about every movie in the last 40 years.
Last weekend, Danny Trejo posted on Facebook that he was in Grand Rapids shooting the movie “In Stranger Company”. When he posted on social media, we still weren't quite sure what the movie was about; well now we know a bit more..

It's my favorite month of the year, because Halloween! Who doesn't love Halloween? It's the most fun, not only because of Trick or Treating and candy, but because the movies for Halloween are the best! There are a lot of scary movies to watch, and I've found a bunch either made in Michigan, or set in this state. First up: It Follows.
Thursday night, we were lucky enough to get in to see Rob Zombie's new movie "31" at the special sneak preview hosted by Fathom Events. The movie isn't due to be released on VOD until later this month, and will be in theaters in October. We're not going to spoil the movie for you, but share some of our thoughts on what we saw. See the video below.
Last night, Christine from our sister station Channel 95.7 and I went to see the new movie, "The Shallows", with the beautiful Blake Lively. It's a shark movie that's a little different from the silly ones that have come out like Sharknado. And did I mention that Blake is really hot and in a bikini the whole movie?
Okay, so the new Ghostbusters theme has been released for the upcoming female-fronted movie. If you thought the trailers for the movie were bad, then this new theme might make you want to kill yourself. It is freaking TERRIBLE! Dear Christ, what the hell were they thinking?
This might be way worse than the movie will ever be.
