When Cedar Point announced this was the last season for the "Wicked Twister" rollercoaster, speculation began that the ride might end up at Michigan's Adventure.
It's the largest amusement park in Michigan and it's set to reopen this weekend. Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon is opening for the season on Saturday, May 29.
One change includes requiring a Covid-19 test prior to entering the park if you're not fully vaccinated, although there is currently no procedure listed on how to provide proof of vaccination. This will also impact those in the park as those without the vaccine will be required to mask up in indoor areas and are strongly encouraged to wear them outside and on rides.
As a child, there were so many cool places to visit in the West Michigan area. We had Deer Park Funland in Muskegon (now Michigan's Adventure), Deer Forest in Coloma (now closed), and a place in Bradley called Plank Road Farm.
