Now that the football season is over. Let's focus on the talented and dedicated marching bands in West Michigan.

They went to Indy for the 2018 Bands of America National Championship and came back ranked 14th in the nation. Great job!

The Grand Valley State University Laker Marching Band, GVSU Dance Company and WGVU Nerd Walk will kick-off ArtPrize Wednesday, September 21, at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids.

Out of about 200 applicants, Rockford was one of ten marching bands that were chosen to represent their respective states in the parade.

The Detroit Lions play this Thursday Dec. 3, and so will the Western Michigan University Bronco Marching band, Fox 17 reports.

We don't normally talk highly of Ohio State here at WGRD, but this is too good to pass up.  The Ohio State marching band did a tribute to video games during their halftime show this weekend.  The band played video game theme songs while marching in formations that depicted the games.  Some of the games that the band featured were Zelda, Halo, Pokemon, Tetris, and Super Mario Brothers.
