It’s Labor Day Weekend. There are a lot of events that are wrapping up for the summer, so get out and enjoy those events. There are also some events just for the Labor Day Weekend. And, if you are up for a road trip, Monday is the only day you can walk across the Mackinac Bridge!

Labor Day is the only day out of the year that you can walk across the Mackinac Bridge -- which spans 5-miles from Mackinaw City to St. Ignace. This year was the 60th Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk and I was able to do it with my 74-year-old Mother!
Traveling between Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas is something we take for granted today thanks to the Mackinac Bridge. You likely can't imagine the wait that drivers were once forced to endure to travel between Mackinaw City and St. Ignace.
