Joey's Tavern on Fulton Street will be closed temporarily due to liquor license violations found by the state involving serving alcohol to a man who passed away in a car accident after leaving the bar.

If you're planning to enjoy an adult beverage at a Griffin's game this month, heads-up that Van Andel Arena's liquor license is suspended during four upcoming games.

The Rezervoir on Plainfield Ave. plans to reopen today after having it's liquor license suspended temporarily by the Michigan Liquor Control Commision. Fox 17 reports that that the MLCC says The Rezervoir, formerly known as Sazerac Lounge, hosted an illegal euchre tournament in February 2015.

A West Side bar won't be serving alcohol this weekend. MLive Media Group/ The Grand Rapids Press reports that the liquor license at Louie's Bar & Rocket Lounge BBQ on Bridge Street has been suspended by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission July 10, 11, and 12.
