The WGRD Pond Hockey Classic 2015 is done for the weekend and its remaining games will be rescheduled because of tenuous ice conditions at Richmond Park. As of 9 p.m. EST Saturday, it was determined by tournament officials the ice at the Grand Rapids park was no longer in playable condition and Sunday's schedule has been canceled, said Angela Paasche, the tourney's director and Townsquare Media G

Forty-five-teams. Five rinks. Three days over one weekend. One park in Grand Rapids. That pretty much sums up the WGRD Pond Hockey Classic 2015, which opened Friday night under the lights.

The WGRD Pond Hockey Classic 2015 is Jan. 23-25, 2015, at Richmond Hill Park in Grand Rapids. Get your team signed up with 97.9 WGRD over the next couple days.
