The Kent County Sheriff's Department announced Thursday that they have arrested a 42-year-old man from Caledonia who they say traded teen girls alcohol and vape pens in exchange for sex.

A police dog from the Grand Rapids Police Department was seriously injured while trying to apprehend a suspect on the city's northwest side on Sunday night.

The body was found just before 10 am on Monday on the White Pine Trail near 19 Mile Road, just north of Cedar Springs, in northern Kent County.
