The BISSELL Pet Foundation jumps in yet again as they are hosting their “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” reduced-fee adoption event from Dec. 1 – 11, 2022, and they are including 30 Michigan shelters.
Bats are the leading cause of rabies deaths in people here in the United States. So far this year in Kent County, five bats have tested positive for rabies.
Starting this year, Kent County is teaming up with PetHub. The new dog licenses will feature a QR code on them that can instantly provide the owner's information.
Almost 40 shelters in Michigan will be participating in the Bissell Foundation's "Empty the Shelters" event, starting Monday, December 6th and running for two weeks.
