There aren't many songs that were written just for Halloween, but there are a few that could fall into a category of songs appropriate for playing on Halloween.
A remake of Escape From New York has been in development for years, but when Fox hired Luther creator Neil Cross to write the screenplay last fall, it seemed like the project was finally picking up some legitimate steam. It’s been over a year since we last heard anything about the remake of John Carpenter’s cult classic, but a new report has revealed several key plot details from the film — which doesn’t sound like much of a remake at all.
It’s been seven years since Michael Myers last appeared to terrify teenagers on Halloween. But this Michael Myers. He can’t be killed. He can’t be stopped. He always come back. And now he’s coming back again. (Cue creepy piano music.)
When I was a kid, I would stay up for long periods of time and watch a movie on a TV channel. The best movies seem to have been shown on the USA Network, along with TNT.
Before they were all about Drama or whatever, they showed classic movies and retro ones. This is where I saw any Stallone or Schwarzenegger movie.
It's also where I saw, 'They Live.'
I'm not sure how I feel about this remake of 'Big Trouble in Little China'. I like Dwayne Johnson, I think he was hysterical in 'Pain and Gain'. He's made some... interesting film choices... like 'Tooth Fairy', but some amazing movies, too. You know you love him. 'The Rundown' is a great movie.
But 'Big Trouble in Little China' is a masterwork of action and hilarity.
