Steelcase and the Heart of West Michigan United Way are teaming up to offer free tax preparation for qualifying families on Tuesday.

The Michigan State Police have issued a warning regarding a telephone scam using the IRS as a cover. Police are saying that scammers have been using fake names and IRS badge numbers to intimidate victims into wiring money to pay off IRS debts. The scammers have threatened victims with audits, arrests, suspension of business licenses and deportation.

The Osbournes have run into a little financial trouble, owing more than $1.7 million in back taxes to Uncle Sam. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are at risk of losing their home in Los Angeles.
