Get out and enjoy the winter weather this weekend. There are several events happening in downtown Grand Rapids -- from the Golf Show to ice sculptures and Human Hungry Hippos! Also this weekend, you can watch the Opening Ceremonies for the Winter Olympics, Learn to Luge, and take a Polar Plunge! There are also a few concerts and sporting events.
With the winter weather returning this weekend, most of these events are indoor events. We have everything from concerts to autos, bulls to basketball. And we can’t forget about the Super Bowl this weekend!
There are activities going on this weekend inside and out. For the kids, the hunters, the sports enthusiasts, the brides-to-be, and beer lovers. A lot of stage shows to choose from as well...especially if you like comedy.
It looks like winter will return this weekend. It might be a good weekend for indoor activities, although we have a couple of outdoor activities as well so you can get out and enjoy the wintry weather.
