‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 delivers “The Queen’s Justice” with a long-awaited meeting of Ice and Fire; somehow only the third most incredible upset of the hour. Plus, has Cersei pulled ahead in the war for Westeros? Find out in our full review!
Game of Thrones has Season 7 spoilers pretty well under control, unless you’re the costume designer. A new interview with Michele Clapton lets slip that Jon Snow will have not one, but two long-awaited introductions this season, and the outfits to match.
Game of Thrones is debuting later in the year than ever, but that doesn’t dampen our excitement for the first official Season 7 trailer one bit. Watch the world of Westeros get a little colder, even as the Great War heats up in the penultimate season’s first official trailer.
No longer must Game of Thrones fans stare at a block of ice for a CG teaser: Season 7 is here! See Cersei, Daenerys and Jon Snow get some fresh threads in a new “Long Walk” teaser for the July premiere, complete with chilly twist.
Although pre-production on Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s young Han Solo spinoff has been underway for some time now (operating under the clever codename “Red Cup”), today marks the full, official start of production. To celebrate, Lucasfilm has debuted the first photo of the cast and their directors, crammed together inside the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon as if posing for a very cheerful (if a bit tardy) holiday greeting card.
Even at a reduced episode order, Game of Thrones Season 7 brings with it the likelihood of even more character connections than the prior year. We know travel times are no longer a concern, but a new Season 7 production report places a surprising figure within striking distance of King’s Landing.
Ian McShane intended to denigrate Game of Thrones in dismissing it as “tits and dragons,” but he’s not wrong when it comes to viewers zeroing in on the nudity above all. We’ve seen numerous “controversies” of actors male and female showing (or not showing), but as far as last night’s spectacular Daenerys fire-walk, Emilia Clarke herself wants you to know that no CGI was required of her latest nude scene.
Game of Thrones Season 6 may not cower to critics, but when the Mother of Dragons demands it, showrunners are wise to follow. A new interview with Queen Daenerys herself, Emilia Clarke, calls for a very flaccid end to the HBO drama, which itself apparently denied fans Jason Momoa’s “fabulous” member.
They warned us we’d be teased, and Game of Thrones Season 6 wasn’t kidding around. The first footage teaser for the new 2016 season has arrived with HBO’s Vinyl, bringing back some majorly familiar faces, but has the big Jon Snow question finally been answered at last?
Just last week we brought you the news that the planned Terminator Genisys trilogy was being put on hold indefinitely following the disappointing performance of the film that was intended to kick off that new series of films. Makes perfect sense, we thought. Genisys was not a very good movie and didn’t leave many people, including us, very interested the future of this franchise. But, this is Hollywood and perfect sense doesn’t always apply. Now, Terminator Genisys producer Dana Goldberg has spoken publicly for the first time saying future Terminator movies haven’t been canceled, they’re just being “re-imagined.” Oh great, another reboot!
