E3

This years beginning of E3 was pretty awesome with the return of the legendary Nintendo World Championships. It had been over 20 years since the original Nintendo World Championships, and Nintendo brought them back this year. Thanks to it's success, it looks like they are gonna keep things going next year.

Well, it took a really long time, but a new Star Fox game is finally on the horizon! Officially announced today during Nintendo's Digital Event, Shigeru Miyamoto showed game play, video, cut scenes, and clarified where the game sits in the Star Fox storyline. That's where the hint of disappointment comes in.

The Shenmue games are officially becoming a trilogy. The first game was released in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast. At the time, the game was speculated to 'save' the Sega Dreamcast. It's quite a game with a very in depth world! I never really got into it because I was insanely confused, but I can see where the fandom comes from.

Yesterday, I was pretty excited to see all of the great stuff that Microsoft had to show. It was very exciting to see all of the new technology, games, and Gears of War 4! Microsoft recently finished up their press conference at E3 this year, and it was insanely impressive! Not only with the announcement of some great games, but a piece of hardware that floored me. The Microsoft Hololens.

Rare Games has been a staple in the gaming industry since the original Nintendo days. The created Perfect Dark, Battletoads, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and countless other games. For the first time ever, they are bundling 30 of their best games into one awesome disc.

After a 25 year hiatus, the Nintendo World Championships came back to this years Electronic Gaming Expo. I really didn't think it would be that entertaining until I started to see some of these guys go after some of these Mario stages! I missed the majority of the actual finals, but thankfully it's the 21st Century and the whole thing was recorded!
