This September 11th will mark the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11, and is the largest annual day of charitable engagement in the US. Millions of people observe the day with acts to help others. One great way to help is to either volunteer helping the American Red Cross, or donate blood, or both!
A Michigan-based charity, which claimed to be giving support to firefighters and victims of fire, passed along less than 10 percent of donations received. They did not offer any food, shelter, or clothing to families burned out of their homes.
The charity has agreed to cease operations.
