Saturday night, KISS hit the Van Andel Arena on their Freedom to Rock tour, and put on a show like only KISS can. There were fireworks, fires, huge video screens, blood, flying Gene, ziplining Paul...everything you'd think you'd see at a KISS show.

Today on Segment 16, the guys have been sniping at each other a bit, and it carried over to the local segment, where they were talking with our special Van Andel guests about today's big news. Paul McCartney is coming to Grand Rapids this August...

Even famous bands have to get their start somewhere, and Rage Against the Machine is no different. If this footage isn't of their first concert ever, it's certainly one of their earliest known appearances caught on tape. And it looks very, very 90's.

Today on Segment 16, the nice people from the Van Andel brought KISS cupcakes by to help celebrate the announcement that KISS is returning to Grand Rapids! Joe immediately got so excited at even the thought of cupcakes, that he destroyed them. Everyone was sad.

I'm a huge Anthrax fan, and have been since I first heard State of Euphoria. Of the Big 4, they definitely have the best singer of the bunch, and their brand of thrash is completly different from the other four bands. They just seem to be having a bit more fun than the other bands, and seem to take themselves a bit less seriously, which is fun. But they also put out some freaking amazing music. Re

Black Sabbath are about to head out on their final tour. This is not one of those "final" tours where they will come back in a couple years and do it again, according to the band. This is it. That's why it's call "The End". The band is rehearsing now, and are really focusing on all the "new old" songs in the set, that they haven't played since the 70's. I love that! R

Tool is back on the road, and they have a lot of songs they're working on for a new Tool album. We're all super excited to hear new stuff, but until then, it's just great that the band is back on the road! They're playing throughout the rest of January, and then hopefully going back into the studio to finish up the album. Since they're not coming anywhere near Grand Rapids or Michigan at all, here
