Walgreens has announced that they'll be closing about 600 stores nationwide as they complete a deal to buy nearly 2,000 stores from Rite Aid.

Grand Rapids will say goodbye to another restaurant this weekend. Fox 17 reports that Mangiamo! on Lake Drive will close August 20th.

Word came out in April that Kmart would be closing nearly 70 stores across the country. We wondered if any Kmart stores in West Michigan would be affected. Now we have an answer. Kmart has confirmed that the stores on Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids, and on 68th Street and Clyde Park in Byron Center will close soon, Fox 17 reports.
